I'm still alive!
My shop has been pretty inactive over the last month and a half due to a move back to my hometown ;) So far it has been wonderful being here! It's nice to have so many friends and family that live less than ten minutes away. I didn't realize how much time I spent doing practically nothing (other than my bath products) in the south bay. Though, I did spend a good amount of time over the last few months baking with one of my two south bay friends :) I guess I did have *some* things to do, but I've got much more to keep me busy now. Between getting the house in order, starting my huge garden, catching up with old friends and making bath products I've got my hands full.
I'll try and get some new things back in the shop over the next few weeks, or after the dust settles...whichever comes first. We still have two storage units to empty, so that'll be fun.

slow times...
Things have been a little slow around here lately, but I don't mind. We are moving next month:) Back to my hometown, yay! I've been looking at places for a while now so now it's just a matter of picking out the best ones...
Maybe after that I can actually get a business license and start marketing my stuff to local stores.

Favor/Gift Ideas
It's recently come to my attention that....bath bombs make great party favors! I just got an order in for a bridal shower, but they would work with many other themed parties as well. Remember, I can customize them to your exact specifications.
Additionally, bath bombs are a very *affordable* way to get your Valentine's day started right!

New products in the works
I know it's late, but I thought I'd make a post about all the new stuff I've been getting my grubby little hands into.
Last week I decided to try to make some tea lights. I'll spare all the details about how I tore up the kitchen...but I was pleased with the end result! I have sets of four that I'll be adding tomorrow.
Today I started making my clay masks again. Man, what a difference a blender makes. There's nothing worse than a lumpy clay mask, so I made sure mine turned out nice and silky (It feels like spa clay....I tried some out today). I read on a couple different sites that you're not supposed to store clay masks with wetting agents for an extended amount of time (otherwise you have to add chemicals?). In other words, you're supposed to wet it and apply right away. This totally explains why everyone that offers clay masks on Etsy sells them dry. The weird thing, is that I have a couple masks that I've been storing in the fridge for over a few months now and they're just fine. Maybe it's because I don't add tons of stuff to them?
At any rate, I think my masks are just fine and I'll be adding them to the shop tomorrow as well ;)
